A Fallon Longhorn (02) just passed right over me here in Fernley two minutes ago (1:31 PM, Monday) westbound for Reno. It will be there in four minutes or so. Catch it. I did. I got a FABULOUS snap of it. Will post.
(ADDED AT 1:38 PM) Yeeoowzah! An NSAWC helo just went by headed eastbound TOWARD Fallon. Caught it too. They must have passed each other near Derby Dam. It's 'copter day in my front yard! YeeHaa!

Two Harriers from VMA-211/Yuma landed at 1610. Looks like an overnighter. Will be on the line to see if a photo opportunity arises.

Watch tonight's ASK JOE segment during the 6 PM newscast (Ch 4). He wrote me saying he is trying to get a bit more info about the National 747 a/c crash at Bagram. I had written to him telling him that "Lori" had been here just a month ago and he said he will mention that fact while trying to provide more info about what may have happened and who the seven men were who have received very little national recognition for their sacrifice.
