I've got a boatload of photos from LAX and LGB from a business trip last week, which I haven't yet downloaded or even looked at. OK with you guys if I post some of them here, or do you prefer our local airports only?

Go for it!:coolthumb::coolthumb:

Here's my thoughts on the issue;
I DEFINATELY want to see those shots but at the same time when we discussed the theme and intent of the new website, it was going to be a site based on aviation in northern nevada only. Shots from Tahoe to Fallon, Stead to Minden and all points in-between.
The question/s I will throw out there to you guys are these:
#1. Should we send shots from airports outside our areas by e-mail to each other and keep the site purely high sierra stuff or #2.should we (can we) add a misc airport category to our website to handle shots like these. Eventually, we are all probably going to leave the area for one reason or another and being the dedicated photogs that we all are, we will be bringing back shots from other places like LGB & LAX and I definately want to see them.
Let me know what you guys think.:coolglasses:
I can create a new category for "out of area airports" or something like that.

I figured that LAX/LGB were outside of our territory, that's why I posted this under the "Trip Report" thread. No problem for me to go either way, but I'd like to see a category called "Other Airports." Why not showcase our collective talent for photography?
Ok, I will add that category :)
Ok I added LAX and LGB, I will probably also add Nellis,Sacramento (SMF) and Mather (MHR) for airshows. Can anybody think of any other airports that may be needed?

My "hat goes off" to Gary, who is one tough and dedicated photog! :coolthumb::bow:
I met up with him last night at Rock Park. It was freezing, dark and it's a place that's a little hazardous to be at night, but there was our brother photog out there taking night shots!
Gary, I salute you! :cheers: :headbang:
