Hi, all. I'm pretty pumped up. A few weeks back, I was rummaging thru some real old boxes we found buried in a closet. At the bottom, I found some VERY old 8 millimeter movie tins. I was darn startled. Waaaaay back when I was in my early teens, I had an 8 mm movie camera that I used ALL the time, but I had not remembered still having any of those old films. One of the reels is labeled "Planes." I took a look; geez, there are a couple hundred feet of film on that reel at least. So I'm having it transferred to CD. I can recall taking lots of film of airliners landing and departing, so if these are those same films (and IF they can be salvaged), this CD is going to be a real nostalgia trip as well as a great video resource. (The film on that reel would be 39-42 years old and would show aircraft such as 727s, Electras, DC-6s, Convair 240s and 440s, BAC-111s, and Caravelles.) Ryan, if there is ever any way for me to post vids on our site, I'll have the ones I've taken recently plus segments "from the ancient past." lol I'll keep y'all posted.
