What We Missed

Hey, yesterday's visit by Air Force Two certainly made the day a special one, eh? And an added bonus was the arrival and departure of a special livery Southwest 737 (Illinois One). But ... it's a shame that we missed not one but TWO more visits yesterday. A Frontier Airbus arrived shortly after noon yesterday and departed a couple hours later. And (here's the heartbreaker) :tears: a Miami International 737 also stopped at RNO during the afternoon. But, unless Mike is keeping a secret from the rest of us, it appears we all missed them. Now, Mike was there, so it's possible he DID catch 'em and he just hasn't gotten around to posting them yet.

I was going to catch that Miami International 737 but I had to leave when my gastro-intestinal problem reared up :(

Oh well, at least I got the important shots of the day :)

I never saw the Miami jet. I did see the Frontier yesterday but didn't get any shots.:tears:

The Frontier was here to take the UNR football team to Idaho.

Whaa? Ryan, old buddy, you KNEW that MI 737 was going to be arriving? How come you didn't mention it when we were together over on Turbo? Instead of turning my camera in to Gord's, I'd have kept it another couple of hours to get a shot of that MI bird. Ahh, no biggie, the clouds got thicker and I couldn't use my zoom at all anyway, so my pics would have been long-range. I sure do hope that Canon FIXES it this time. :whoknows: ~ RNO G
