My wife was working the security gate that the mechanics use to access the airfield and she asked him what happened with that A/C. He said that they had another mechanical with this a/c at SFO that same morning but got that problem fixed then while enroute to Minneapolis, one of the FMS (Flight Management System) screens suddenly went black and started to smoke, hence the diversion to Reno. He also said that the a/c will be here until the Delta mechanic arrives. |
